This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, etc. of anti-static clothing.


This standard applies to anti-static clothing that may cause electric shock, fire and explosion hazard.


The antistatic suits defined in this standard are not suitable for use against power supply voltages.

Second, terms and definitions


The following terms and definitions apply to this standard.


Anti-static clothing


In order to prevent static electricity accumulation on the clothing, the anti-static fabric is used as the fabric, and the overalls are sewn according to the prescribed style and structure.


Anti-static fabric

Point-to-point resistance

1) Fabric:


- Appearance quality: The fabric should be free from damage, spots, dirt or other defects that affect the antistatic properties of the fabric.


- Detection parameters: The fabric is tested by point-to-point resistance method. The technical parameters are shown in the table below.

2) Clothing:


- Appearance quality: There should be no damage, spots, dirt and other defects that affect the wearing performance.


- Structure style: The structure of the garment should be safe and hygienic, which is conducive to the normal physiological requirements and health of the human body; the clothing should be easy to put on and take off and adapt to the physical activities during the operation; the clothing style should be simple and used.
